Issue: the hashboard lost chips or After a predetermined amount of time, the ASIC status displayed X.
A functional D3 hashboard, for instance, contains 60 ASIC chips. The image below shows that Hashboard No. 1 has lost chips, Hashboard No. 2 is normal, and Hashboard No. 3 displays X.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. swap out for a tested, well-known PSU.
2. Verify that the miner is securely grounded.
3. Confirm the network is normal by,
1 Network =>2 Diagnostics => 3 Enter pool stratum => 4 Ping => 5 Check the result
Packet loss: 0% means normal.
Delay Time: avg. should below 100ms and the max. should not exceed too much. (e.g., ping stratum.antpool.com )
4. Verify that the miner is operating at a normal temperature and that no dust or other debris is attached. Otherwise, you need to clean and dust the Bitmain Antminer KA3 miner.
5. Please send the device in for repair if none of the aforementioned measures work to resolve the issue.
